Our grandstand, affectionately called "Big Red" overlooks one of the baseball diamonds. The full kitchen below - equipped with griddle, deep fryer, freezers, refrigerators - can be rented for events and parties.
In addition to three baseball/softball diamonds, we have 10 acres of open field space available for a variety of sports (soccer, football, lacrosse, frisbee). Fields are available to rent for a single day or for a complete season. When unscheduled, anyone may play on the fields.
Tennis & Pickleball
We have 2 regulation courts with youth lines incorporated and pickleball/paddle tennis lines as well. Courts are locked to protect the surface and nets so that players have the best experience. For access to courts, join the Bristol Recreation Club as a Full Member or as a Tennis-only Member (Click here to learn about membership).
The Bristol Skatepark features quarter pipes, a halfpipe, pyramid, china box, starter ramp, various boxes, and other changing features. It is adjacent to the Bristol Hub Teen Center, staffed from 10 am to 6 pm, Mon-Fri. At the Hub you can use the bathroom, rent skateboards, scooters, or helmets for free, or have the staff help you create sick video footage. There is also an indoor halfpipe inside of the Hub.
Sodbusters Horseshoe Club is an NHPA-sanctioned league club, and hosts several tournaments throughout the year in the 16 lighted clay pitching courts. The league plays on Tuesday nights at 7:00PM (with a 30-minute warm-up period beforehand). Visit their site to learn about joining the league or to get information about free play days open to the public.
The full size skating rink is open for ice skating in the winter and roller skating in the summer. Volunteers maintain the ice in the winter. To check on ice conditions or to help, contact Carol Weston (cwestmullins at yahoo dot com).
The covered pavilion can be rented for parties or events, and is open to anyone if not previously scheduled.
